How To Get Free Dental

Nice Click-bait title ah ‘how to get free medical…haharr Classic.

Well you may or may not know that I get free medical (which includes dental) when I joined the ADF, that’s right everyone who is full time in the Defence Force gets free medical.

As ADF personel are entitled to Medical care we are exempt from having to pay the Medicare levy, which is a nice little 2% annual Tax saving that stays in my wallet.

So why the hell am I talking about teeth and medical stuff…

I just had one of my wisdom teeth pulled out and as I was laying there with the Doc swinging off my tooth with a pair of pliers, I thought to myself Dam that Hurts!!! Ha harr, Nar not really my gums, jaw, well actually half my face was numb due to a healthy dose of anesthetic, thank the heavens.

So I was numb to the pain and thankfully so was my wallet. not having to have to fork out my hard earned Dollar-Reedoos for the procedure made me to be grateful

that’s this is free oh yeah

The cost of getting a tooth removed can be upwards of $800-$1000 according to Dental Guide Australia, now I’m not going to be in the Military all my life so I better take my $1000 of savings, invest it, and let it compound for the day when I’m no longer an entitled little army brat!
